This resource allows the class teacher to lead a session where: -children make inferences and predictions using the front cover of the book -children consider how to ‘monitor’ their reading (with a cool lizard video) read the first chapter of Land of Roar children learn about sequencing/summarising and do some as a class children complete some independent sequencing/summarising tasks /questions. These resources will help year 5/6 students get used to SATS-style questions.
